We envision our communities as places where
people have decent, safe and affordable housing
that enables them to live secure and purposeful lives
and where all sectors of our society -- public and
private -- participate in seeing that all are sheltered
with dignity.

The programs we've developed grew in response to needs we observed in the community. They are modest efforts, but we believe they are making a difference.

Our mission is to improve, increase, and preserve housing affordable to low-income people in the Brattleboro area and to do so in ways that are sustainable, collaborative, and empowering, and that raise public awareness of local housing needs.

 All our work is done by volunteers. We have no staff.
